About us

The Adult Learning and Education Network in Kosovo (ALE NK) is a network established through the goodwill of cooperation among various state organizations, such as relevant ministries and state agencies involved in the development of youth and adult education in Kosovo (the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation – MESTI, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports – MCYS, the Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education – AVETAE, the Employment Agency of the Republic of Kosovo – EARK), as well as various civil society organizations (DVV International, NGO – KEC, College – ECK, NGO – THY, NGO – Hareja, and NGO – LYAC Peja), which focus on youth and adult education in the Republic of Kosovo, the ALE NK Network aims to promote effective cooperation between these institutions. The purpose of the ALE NK Network is to foster collaboration between relevant state ministries and agencies and non-governmental education providers working with different age groups of youth and adults. This collaboration supports the development of the cross-sectoral role of Adult Education and Lifelong Learning (LLL) in the Republic of Kosovo.
